Biographical Information
Jack Lee Cowin ~ [1947-2014] Canadian
Cowin was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He entered Indiana University with an eye on a career as a medical illustrator. Later transferring to fine arts and specializing in printmaking, he completed his BFA in 1969 and received his MFA from the University of Illinois in 1971. He then accepted a position in the Fine Arts Dept. at the University of Regina, teaching for 36 years, retiring in 2007.
